What do ballasts do?
Ballasts generate electric arcs that react with the electroreactive gas inside fluorescent lighting tubes. In turn, this creates radiant energy which activates the phosphor coating on the inside of the tube to give off light. After the initial charge, the amount of current needed to maintain the illumination reduces; the ballast continues operating, however, as a voltage regulator.
Why should I use ECOBALLAST?
Electronic ballasts are significantly more energy efficient and guaranteed to improve lighting performance.

Additionally, each and every one of our ballast units has been soak tested for a period of no less than 72 hours.
We also manufacture to strict standards using a quality management system which is ISO9000 & ISO9001 accredited. Each Roebuck Electronique product carries the CE mark; confirming that all requirements of the directives have been met and that ECOBALLAST does not contravene consumer safety nor trade descriptions legislation.
Whilst ECOBALLAST is easy to install, we would always recommend that installation work is carried out by qualified electricians. As you would expect, all of our products are provided with a full warranty, but should a component failure occur throughout this period, a replacement will be supplied, free of charge. |
