The Hitachi Heat Pump

Hitachi has been at the forefront of engineering and innovation for over a century, and is currently one of the largest manufacturers of heat pumps and air conditioning systems in the world. Today they boast a dedicated European manufacturing plant, at their purpose built factory in Barcelona, producing heat pump systems for all over the continent and beyond. Hitachi systems are technically advanced and include many unique innovations. Much of this is down to the company policy of investing no less than 6% of their global sales into research and development for their products.

P&M Coppack are proud to be main dealers for Hitachi heat pumps and heat pump heating systems, including the Yutaki split type air to water heat pump, which is available in a range of power outputs, from 2.2kW to 32kW. The Yutaki system can provide heating from the ambient air at air temperatures as low as -20°C, and even with temperatures down to -5°C, the system will still be able to create water temperatures as high as 60°C to supply radiators, under floor heating or hot water tanks in your home.

The Hitachi heat pump systems come with a range of high tech functions too, including system frost protection, outdoor temperature compensators and automatic summer switch off, although they work just as efficiently in reverse to cool your home during those hot summer months.

What’s more, on top of the impressive savings you already get from heat pumps compared to fossil fuel systems, Hitachi claim that their DC Inverter driven systems save an additional 30% in energy costs compared to the fixed speed systems used by other manufacturers.

With such a heavy investment in research and development, Hitachi products are changing all the time, so contact P&M Coppack today for the latest news.
