Hot water heat pumps -
the energy-saving solution

BWP 300 LW hot-water heat pump
Your advantage: Dimplex hot-water heat pumps meet your hot water demand throughout the year and extract 70% of the energy required for heating from the ambient air. Independent of sunshine duration or season.

Ideal for one- and two-family homes
A Dimplex hot-water heat pump provides central water heating for your house or apartment - irrespective of the existing heating system. It heats and stores the water until you need it.

The AWP 300 LW, BWP 300 and BWP 300 LW hot-water heat pump models with optional airduct connection draw their heating energy from the solar heat stored in the ambient air, or from the waste heat contained in the room air. The units are available with a foil faced insulation jacket or a sheet steel cabinet.

Hot-water heat pump for air duct connection

BWP 300

  • Compact appliance, ready for plug-in, for central hot water supply
  • Optional air duct connection, waste heat utilization is largely independent of the installation site
  • Safety heat exchanger: condenser wrapped around the outside of the storage tank
  • Electric heating element (1.5 kW)
  • Optimum operating range at air temperatures between 8°C and 35°C

BWP 300 LW has the additional features:

  • Tubular heat exchanger (1.45 m 2 ) for connection to an additional heat generator, e.g. a solar heating system
  • Sleeve provided for an external temperature sensor for the second heat generator
  • Switch and relay for actuating an external charge pump for charging the standard additional heat exchanger.

Hot-water heat pumps
Fresh air in your basement due to air recirculation.
The room air is extracted via an airduct (e.g. from the storage room or a wine cellar),subsequently cooled and dehumidified in the heat pump and finally returned to the room. Recreation rooms, boiler rooms or utility rooms are ideal installation sites. The air ducts leading through warm sections must be insulated to prevent diffusion and the formation of condensation water.

Simply dry Dehumidified air in the laundry room facilitates laundry drying and prevents any moisture-induced damage.

Waste heat is useful heat The standard heat exchanger of the hot-water heat pump can also be directly connected to a second heat generator, e.g. a solar heating system or a boiler.

Variable changeover A duct system with integrated bypass flaps allows for variable utilization of the heat contained in the outdoor air or room air for the production of hot water (lower operating temperature limit of the heat pump : + 8°C)
